Radical Rivers

Radical Rivers is the Youth Ministry of Living Streams Worship Center. "Radical Rivers" is composed of our youth ages 12 - 17. The definition of a river is any abundant stream or flow; an outpouring. Radical means to be extreme regarding change from that which is traditional.

 

At LSWC, our youth are encouraged to be radical (not necessarily traditional) about their outpouring of praise for Christ. We believe in "no more church as usual" and thus; our youth strive to think outside the box when it comes to how they express their love for Christ.

 

Matthew 11:12 states, "the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." With so many negative influences that our youth face in the world; our focus is to teach (and consequently empower) our youth to be "radical" for Christ in order that they may be the influencer and to be "violent" toward discipling other youth for Christ.
